Ma da quanto tempo non scrivo? Scusate, ma la vita di DC con due internship da fare contemporaneamente e` un pelino piu` dinamica e stancante di quella di Syracuse (e meno male, aggiungo io!). Qui le cose procedono con tranquillita`: visita alla Casa Bianca (dove mi attendevo un invito a pranzo ;)!), musei e barbecue…unica nota stonata, o meglio note stonate, il tempo, che a volta rasenta i livelli di schifezza di Syracuse e i mosquito, che appaiono piu` incazzati di chi sta 5 ore di fila in coda alla posta una mattina di agosto con 36C e l`aria condizionata guasta…
It`s been too long without writing, I know. But the life in DC with two internships to do and class is a bit more exhausting of the one in Syracuse (and I`m happy for that, just to be clear!). Here things run smoothly: visit to the White House (where I was expecting to be invited for lunch ;)!), museums and bbq…only complaint, or complaints, the weather, that often reaches the level of crappiness of Syracuse and mosquitoes, that seem more pissed off than someone that waits 5 hours at the postal office (absolutely possible in Italy :D!) with no air conditioning (possibly broken) during a hot and sunny morning of August.
